At the past conferences the foundation of CCEDEP was the socio-economic system built around of the exchange of human and physical resources, which is in correlation with the creation, production, distribution, trade and consumption of goods and services by individuals and organizations, implying sustainability and more efficient sustainable use of our ecosystems.
The rising trend of urbanization, air and water pollution, rapid increase in energy consumption, high dependence on fossil fuels, sustainable and clean energy supply, adaptation to climate change are challenges that countries face right now.
The mission of the conference is to be a platform for researchers, academics and experts to develop a discussion on the opportunities that societies have in terms of energy, urban development and adaptation to climate change, as well as in the fields of cooperation, economics, international law and law environment, green economy, regional and rural development, sustainable development and ecosystems, and to present their research results in order to deepen their experiences during the maintenance of the conference.
The articles on the relevant topics of the conference may be of a particular scientific discipline or of a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary character. The expectations of this conference are aimed at fostering discussion and co-operation in relation to the stated topics on a European and global level.
The organizing committee will work hard to offer a high quality program from various scientific areas and make the CCEDEP a truly memorable experience for all participants in order to foster international cooperation and new initiatives.
